I'm getting this! I think it will be nice because it won't ride up like a jacket, it is not super thick(like a snow suit, yet still warm. It comes in boy colors too! I'm buying 24 months, we own it in 12 months and it is just a little too small...Violet wears 18-24 month in clothes.

For an outdoor jacket I just picked up a super cute system jacket at Target. For in the car she has a couple fleece hoodies and a fleece Carters pram. She has a snowsuit that I think came from BRU.

Mexx has some really cute boys winter coats. Here is a really craptastic picture of the coat I got DS. It looks like a black hoodie underneath a peacoat. It's very hip and not too bulky.

My MIL got G a nice coat from Lands End, however they only start at size 2T and it's rather big on him, I think I might need to look for something else.

We have one of these from REI. My sister snagged it at the end of the season sale last year. It was 11....marked down from 45. I don't know if we will get her anything thicker as we don't go out much in the snow or anything. But if we did happen to go out, we have a thick 2T jacket she can wear if its too cold for the fleece snowsuit.

He's going to need the coat. We're spending almost a full week up by you for Christmas - on the Penninsula. And my inlaws don't believe in using a heater. This is a nice indoor coat - right?
