V-day today!

I did have a talk with my babies this morning and asked (begged?) them to stay put for 13 more weeks. They gave me some cute kicks so I think that means they are on board with the plan. 

But it's nice to be here at 24 weeks because, well I've never been here before. And it was very traumatic that the doctors did nothing to save my 22 weekers when I went into ptl. It's nice to know that there is a chance for them if I go into ptl again.

 So I'm feeling thankful today. :) And now I'm wishing away the next month so I can be at 28 weeks.

    Congratulations, what a sigh of relief this must be!  I'm glad that the babies were on the same page with their kick-confirmation :)

    I have this conversation with Jackson quite frequently. I hope he listens as well. So far he's been good. I think the kicks were saying yes Mom this time we will listen. Now if we do it we might ask for something in return later on.

    It's never too early to get these kids to start listening, haha. I'll probably give them similar pep talks weekly but if I don't get confirmation kicks and have to promise them stuff later on, I may be a sucker and do it. ;) 

    But once they are here - no more bribes!

    Yay for v-day!
    BFP #1 9/21/11. EDD 6/4/12.  Twins discovered at 8 weeks. Twin B lost at 14 weeks due to megacystis.  Alice Joe born and lost 1/5/12 at 18.5 weeks due to pre-term labor.

    BFP #2 7/11/12.  EDD 3/23/13.  Ada Alice born 3/20/13.

    What a wonderful milestone to reach ... I am so thrilled for you. I hope the next four weeks, and then the next nine fly by for you as well!

    We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.

    Having lost a 22-weeker myself I know exactly what you mean. It's all uncharted waters from here on out. Congrats, mama- wishing you many more weeks with inside babies.
