does anyone know when TRU is having this again where you can trade in your car seat?

I don't know since one just finished a month or so ago.  I will say though that their limitations of brands you can buy leave you with about 5 car seats to choose from in store.  There were only 5 brands included last time.  It may just serve you better to keep an eye on the seat you want at different places.  I ended up getting a better deal through Target than I would have gotten from BRU.

This!  It's only 5% different from the 20% off you can get at any time..  Better to shop for it online and have it delivered (many times for less) as BRU tends to be higher priced anyway compared to other stores that carry baby stuff...  Also, it's not as if the seats get donated to charity, especially the ones in like-new condition/non-expired, they're simply just hauled out to the dumpsters...

They usually do it twice a year, the next one will probably be Feb/March I'm guessing.

yeah they just did one, so probably won't do it again until early spring.
