We have to bring clean bottles to daycare each day (washed at home in the dishwasher) but I am having trouble coming up with a good labeling system. (they each need their first and last name)
We had been using a sharpie, but it wears off pretty quickly.
Any ideas on a more permanent way to label bottles?

Re: labeling bottles?
I use namebubbles.com. The stickers are also great on clothing too. Or if you have a label maker at home that should work for the bottles.
Namebubbles. They are awesome! We hand wash so I don't know about dishwashers, but the same labels have been on our bottles for 4 months and look brand new. Their clothing labels are great too - they've stayed put through many, many washings - so I'm guessing the bottle labels are probably strong enough to withstand the dishwasher.

another namebubble user here. they stay on forever. I love them on everything for dc.

Same here! I bought the daycare label pack and that includes some dishwasher safe and laundry safe labels for their clothing if needed. I love them!
I also used the orbit label from inchbug.com for the bottles. They are these colored bands that go around the bottle with the babies name on it.

We used the "inchbug" orbit bands. The remind me of those yellow livestrong bracelets. They were great and we could use them on a ton of stuff. https://www.inchbug.com/
I have to date as well, namebubbles have lables that come with a grease pen to write the date on. I have her name printed on one side and the other is blank and I date each day, at night I use a dish rag and it wipes right off!

Me too. Love them!
We use these as well and love them. Just make sure you use the hydro marker and not the pen. I would forget to wipe the pen writing off before putting in the dishwasher and it stains the label. The hydro marker wipes off anytime.
