If we didn't use the Halo swaddle sack every time she sleeps, she'd never sleep! As soon as I start thinking we use it too much I remember that if we didn't, she'd wake herself within minutes, and we ALL need sleep, including the baby.
DS is 2 months and I still swadddle him with his soft fuzzy blankets or else he'd need to be held during all his sleep cycles
Gosh I wish it was that easy for me. DS will sleep in his crib at night in either jammies or a sleep sack but HATES his crib during the day and will usually only nap if held. He hates being swaddled.
At this point, I don't think there is such a thing as too much. Your LO is still figuring things out and if something works, do it.
Our LO will not sleep unless being held. ALL OF THE TIME. This just started 3 days ago, we use to swaddle him and he would sleep 3-4 hours, but now, nope. I stay awake all night just to hold him so one of us can sleep. Fingers crossed he grows out of this soon. Your LO is sleeping...count your blessing.
We swaddle all of the time. It's the only way he'll sleep more than 2 seconds. We tried not swaddling last night and it was a total fail. Whatever, whatever helps him sleep!

OP, I say swaddle if it will make your LO sleep.
