Short Version: Kaylee Elizabeth was born this morning at 10:43A Pacific time. She weighed 7lb 6oz and is 19.5 inches long.
Long version: I was admitted last night and was given Cervidil at 8pm, by 1a, I was in fullfledged labor, contractions were coming almost one right after another. I only made it to 3cm before I asked for the epidural. Not my plan, but with the contractions coming so close together I couldn't handle it. Once the epidural was in, I was able to rest for a little bit, but when they came to turn me over the epidural shifted and stopped working. At the same time they moved me they started the pitocin since I was at 6 cm. I then started feeling contractions again, they tried to give me more in my epidural, but it wasn't working because they hadn't realized my epidural stopped working. I spent an hour without an epidural and went from 6cm to 9cm in that hour so I was in a lot of pain. They finally redid my epidural and when it started working I was close to being ready so they left me alone for awhile, when they checked me again I was at 10, but her head hadn't moved down so they left me alone for a little while again. About an hour later I started feeling pressure, I called for the nurse and she said Kaylee was at 2 station and I could start pushing. After 50 minutes Kaylee arrived. She has been such a calm baby, she didn't even cry when they have her, her shots.
We have been trying to breastfeed, but she hasn't latched yet. I don't know how to PIP on the mobile site, but I will post when I get home. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers over the past nine months, I will be stalking many of you from PAL!

We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.
