FET Questions?

Those of you that have done a FET cycle, did your dr. put you on bed rest at all? If so, how long, just the day of the transfer, or the day after also? I will obviously ask my dr. when the time comes, I'm just a planner and thinking about it (our tentative ET is 10/29).

And another - during treatment cycles do you abstain completely from alcohol or just during the 2WW? I'm not really a big drinker and I haven't drank in over a month, so I'm just going to wait til after my beta (and hopefully 9 months!) but just curious what others do.  Thanks!

I was on rest for 36 hours. The day of transfer and the following day. I also could sit up more than 45 degrees during that time. I was only allowed to get up to use the rest room. No showering, getting food, etc.

As for alcohol I avoided it a few days before ET and during the 2ww. I have read it can decrease bloodflow to the uterus which you want to be adequate during the ET.

I was on full rest the day of transfer and partial rest the day after.  I do not drink alcohol so that does not apply to me, I did totally cut out caffeine which was one a soda for week for me.  Good luck!
