Over the summer (beginning of July and end of August) and possibly at the end of Spring, I saw an ad in a fashion magazine while getting my hair done and I can't seem to find it online despite spending hours looking for it. I am interested in the ad because the woman had a hairstyle that I really liked and I wanted to pin it to Pinterest (stupid I know). My hairdresser only vaguely remembers it and he doesn't have those magazines anymore. 

Anyway, if any of you happen to remember the ad and have any idea of who the ad was by then maybe I could try to Google it. It was a classy ad (with a C not a K) and the background was pretty dark. The woman was wearing a black cocktail dress and had above the shoulder, curly, dark hair and pretty bright red lipstick. I may be wrong but I don't think the ad was for cosmetics.

I realize this is a long shot but the more I try to find it and can't the crazier it is making me. Thought I would try the long shot and see if any of you know what I am talking about.

I am thinking it was probably "In Style".  I googled ad campaigns for Chanel, YSL, Valentino, Dior and still can not find it. I think they usually run the ad campaigns in multiple magazines for the season though because I know I saw it in at least 2 different magazines on 2 different visits and specifically asked my hairdresser about the hair. I know this is stupid but it is just bugging me that I can't find it!

Was she facing forward or looking to the side?

Whas her skin tone light, medium or dark?

I think medium curls...not too tight or loose

She was facing forward

I can't recall her skin tone...she was Caucasian

I just go dumped on with a bunch of In Style and People Style Watch magazines ranging from June 2012- Oct 2012.  If I have time I'll look.

ETA: PINNED!!! Yippee! Now I just need to figure out how to get my hair to look like that!

You're welcome, the curls and the red lips gave it away, it had to be it.  Now that I found it, you have to now take the plunge and just cut your hair that way!

You're welcome, the curls and the red lips gave it away, it had to be it.  Now that I found it, you have to now take the plunge and just cut your hair that way! 

thats funny....I looked and saw this one and thought "that cannot be it because it isn't a dark background and doesn't start with a "C"...."

Hot rollers or these (I get them at Target which I always pronounce Tahr-jai in my head, I would never say it outloud)

Super, I am amazed that Shediva found it to but I know that if anyone would find it for me it would be someone on TB! Cantalopes, I call it Tahr-jai too! (heehee) I may have to pick these rollers up on the way home tomorrow. I think I have the cut for this style but I just need to get the curl down (and have time to do it). Thanks so much ladies!
