Mercy Hospital and formula

Wondering if any new moms delivered at Mercy and what type of formula they gave? Due to some health issues with my son the doctors have reccomended that I use Gerber Protect that contains probiotics. Just wondering if they offer Gerber products at Mercy.

    I just attended a childbirthing class there on Sunday.  I was trying to peek at the back of the nursery to see- it looked like Simulac formula, but I can't be sure. 

    If you really would like to know, I would just call.  I bet they'd be more than happy to let you know!

    Quick bit of update: I was filling out my birthplan for Mercy and one of the questions was whether you want them to use formula for your baby and if so, which type- and it lists Similac, Enfamil and GoodStart.  So my assumption is you could choose between any of those three.  Hope this helps!

    Our formula freebies we got were Enfamil, but I'm sure they have a variety on hand if you are feeding formula at the hospital. Are you doing a childbirth class or hospital tour? I'd ask them if you are.
