Someone out there must know the answer to this question!!

DD wears a uniform to dance class. They are very specific about everything, where to buy, what to buy right down to a very specific (read expensive) pair of tights. DD has two pairs and they are about $15 a pair. They are in a colour called "Ballet Pink" which is basically white with a hint of pink. The tights are basically indestructable which is amazing but they are becoming gross. All of the little girls in the class have the same problem. I have noticed the older girls do NOT have this problem but their moms never come to class so we can't ask them.

Does anyone know the magic formula for getting dirt out of these freaking tights? We are all at a loss. First of all they wear ballet shoes that NEVER go outside and you aren't allowed to wear anything but ballet shoes in the studio. Yet all of them have BLACK feet and now knees too. No amount of washing seems to get that grossness out. All the little girls in DD's dance class are starting to look, well, shabby. Is there some kind of magic, a prayer, anything?

a friend of mine used to dance, and she would wash the feet in Dove bath soap. I don't know if that was for the black stuff, or just how she liked to wash them, but they weren't black.
