I can't stand my co-worker. Since the day she started she has done nothing but complicate everything and change how we do things (for no good reason) and basically be extremely annoying. She called me into a conference room this morning to "discuss" with me our procedures for handling the tasks our office is assigned. I told her our procedure, like I have for the last six months, and she basically reamed me out for stepping on her toes on our last project. She told me I wasn't allowed an opinion about the task if I wasn't the one working on it and she thought I was making us look bad for voicing my opinion to our boss. First, it was not her task, it was our task. Two, her take on the task does not reflect our office's purview, she was looking at it from the perspective of her old job (in the same organization) so her points were not valid. And three, she has stolen three of my tasks since she has been there, if she thinks I am giving up anymore work, she is crazy. Even the bump is not busy enough to fill up my entire day. I will voice my opinion when appropriate and she can suck it.
She is also foreign, not a problem, but she has a thick accent and a really loud voice and no filter. Some of the things she screams across cube land are totally inappropriate and cringe-worthy. I am having a tough time today containing my dislike of her today and I really want her to go away. Everyone else thinks she is equally terrible. I really thought another co-worker was going to deck her on Friday and I was silently cheering them on. She keeps talking about how unhappy she is here (loudly and to everyone) and I keep encouraging her to look for another position. Hopefully she will get one soon and get away from me.
hopefully you didn't read that whole pity party, but if you did I give you

I'm interested...where is she from?
Weird she talks to you like she thinks she is in charge of you. I don't get along with people like that. For your sake and the office I hope she leaves.
