Postpartum appt

To bring LO or not? I dont have a babysitter and im a little nervous to bring her to my appt. Anyone who brought their LO to your 6 week appt and how did it go?? thanks ladies

I brought DD to mine and it was fine. In fact the doctor loved seeing her. I wouldn't hesitate to bring.

I brought DS, since DH was already back at work.  My OB and the nurse liked seeing him.  DS slept through the whole appointment.

I took DD with me--they were very accommodating.  My midwife was running late b/c of a delivery, and they offered me a room to nurse.  Plus my midwife got a kick out of seeing her.

My doc is a family doc so she is my doc and kids doc. I love having a family doctor.

My doc told me to bring the baby in to my 6 week when I was discharged from the hospital. They love seeing the little one there. Honestly, the only part of the appt where you can't hold the baby (the exam) only takes a few minutes. Baby just goes back in her car seat or the nurse might volunteer to hold her.

I did. I just got there a little early so that I could rock him to sleep in his car seat in the waiting room. He slept the whole time.

Mine is tomorrow and I'm bringing him. I can't wait to show him to my midwife, who delivered him.

My doctor said if I didn't bring him, she wouldn't see me  I know he'll be fine and sleep most of the time, just like my DD did when she was 6 weeks.  No worries.

I brought mine.  Nurses played with him when i was in the waiting room but I got back to the room and he freaked out, so doc said it would be ok for me to BF him... so I did...during the WHOLE exam.  Worked out fine.
