I try to never wish harm on people but I do enjoy a good dose of Karma. In the past year, almost every girl who either picked on me or flat out bullied me when I was younger has had their lives go down the toilet. Some has had such bad luck/experiances that I "sometimes" actuallly feel bad about smiling while reading their misfortunes on FB. For this reason, and others, I am going to do my darndest to make sure that DD does not pick on/bully anyone. Yes, I know that kids do tend to pick on other kids but I won't ever let her do it to the extent that it was done to me. Since she is extremely outgoing (opposite of DH & I), I am hoping that she doesn't become the victum of it like I was.

This! My SD has great qualities, and I hope she continues to be that way. In our home, at least, we've tried to educate her on being kind to people regardless of their differences. Kids will pick on other kids for the supidest crap, too. I was totally picked on, because I was very tall and really thin compared to most for many years. I then retracted and became a bit of a wallflower. Looking back, I think, "what the he!! was wrong with being tall and thin?" I never did stick up for myself, so that is also something I wish to teach Nora. Be kind to others, but have enough cofidence to stick up for yourself.
I would probably a sit back and smile. I know all of the snotty girls that picked on everyone while in school are now nothing to get excited about. One fell off the face of the earth and isn't friends with the other three. She is gorgeous but can't keep a man worth beans. Another just got married and could have cared less to be at her own wedding, and married a guy with hardly any teeth. The third, got pregnant after a one night stand and decided to have the baby and keep it, because she is still reeling from her abortion in high school. I saw pictures of the guy.....he looks like he fell off a logging truck and he hasn't changed his clothes in months. The last one moved to the other side of the US to get away from drama between the other three girls.....has never had a boyfriend, and doesn't have any close friends.
i don't feel bad for them at all.
