My husband took some money out today and noticed a sizable jump in our balance.  Looks like his work really does have a working adoption-reimbursement program!    With everything else going on, we didn't file this when we adopted M, but we made sure we did it this time, and it was so simple and fast!  Now, I'm regretting not pursuing it the first time....

In other news, J was so happy on Friday because he got two prizes at his Kindergarten wrap-around program for his good behavior.  This was especially important to him because it was on the heels of him having a not-so-good day.  He was really proud, and when I saw him on Saturday morning (I was out on Friday night for a friend's birthday), he couldn't wait to show them off.  Then he gave me one, because I don't have many toys.  I explained that mommies don't have many toys because we really don't have a lot of time to play, and that he should keep it because he earned it.  In response, he told me it wasn't a big deal because he has another, and I should be able to play when all my work from work and home is done, because I work hard.  It really meant something for him to be able to give it to me, and it melted my heart.  Definitely among my favorite gifts ever!

Awww, your DS is such a sweetie!!  I love it when kids give you gifts like that, it's so pure and loving.  I'm glad he had a good day at school and that is awesome news about the adoption reimbursement!!  Great way to start the week
