We had our appointment today at 33w2d. Baby A's head is so low they can't get a measurement but they are estimating that he weights 4lb9oz. Baby B is estimated to weigh approx. 4lb15oz.
My doctor said that because I've been having frequent contractions, he didn't think it was a good idea to do a cervix check. Apparently, he said it could "stir things up" and get them moving even more which we obviously don't want because we still have some time to go. Has anyone been in this boat?

My MFM stops doing cervical checks at 32 weeks. They said that after that, the cervix will naturally start to shorten, so there wasn't much point i continuing to check. I haven't heard anything about a cervix check "stirring things up", but then again, I feel like I'm learning new things everyday with twins!
