I have been a very very long time lurker on both IVFV and IF boards.  I started posting over in IF the beginning of June.  My journey is in my ziggy.  I recognize so many of you from my "years" of lurking and feel like I know you.   Tomorrow is my beta from my 4th IVF.  Have resisted the urge to test but of course am not feeling very hopeful.  IF does that to us.  Praying my AF symptoms are actually pregnancy symptoms.  I would love to join you ladies here and continue to offer support to the ladies on the IF board.

I don't know what to say except that people that try to force their way over don't have a positive experience, but it's a public forum and as you know there have been, and will continue to be, a lot of changes. Have you read our FAQ? Your lurking comment is addressed specifically. Posting on this board means respecting board etiquette; too many intimidating unspoken rules is one of the reasons the boards split in the first place.

Just wondering why you don't wait for your beta results let alone the extra two months before this post?

Point taken Edwina.... That's why I was treading lightly.  I certainly don't want to offend anyone.  I certainly don't want to force my way over. I will respectfully refrain from posting over here till I feel I will be welcomed. 

To answer your question, In all honesty, I "recognize" more women on this board then on the IF board.  Shame on me for not becoming an active poster early on in my struggles.  Although I may "know" most of you, none of you know me.

Julie- it isn't a "shame on you for not posting earlier"-- It's just that you have to build relationships-- not just "create" them in an instance. Get to know the ladies on IF. We read there too and will "know" you if you are still around, which hopefully you won't be. But if you are, you'd be welcomed in here in due time. Just realize that this board is for long term relationships. Too many on IF get PG after a cycle or two and disappear. If you won't "need" us after getting PG, this probably isn't the right fit anyway. Wishing you luck on your beta. 4 IVF's is incredibly tough to endure.

Julie, thanks so much for you understanding. It also has to do with fairness. Allowing one person to slip in means everyone can and that doesn't benefit anyone. It's nothing personal, really! Even if you're not starting threads, you're encouraged to support and it's a great way for us to get to know you too and for you to get comfortable with us. A lot of what goes on on the IF board would be completely unacceptable here. I hope you won't "need" us and you get good news tomorrow.

Thank you ladies.. I appreciate your words and your kindness.  I understand completely.  I have been posting on IF and will continue to even if this cycle is a BFP. (that decides to stick around) Will "meet" again in the near future.
