what do you do when YOU get sick?

I've got a sore throat forming that I hope doesn't develop into anything else but I'm so worried I'll get DS sick. He's not breastfed and DH doesn't have much time off left. What do you do to keep your LO from catching something from you?

Washing hands, take extra vitamins, don't kiss LO really helps with not spreading germs and if you have family in the area, see if they can come over and help. Sometimes all you need is a few hours of extra sleep.

I wash my hands more, lysol everything, and I don't kiss LO:( Other than that I have to suck it up and keep going. Hope you feel better soon OP!

My babies are 6 mos and have an almost 4 year old daughter...i feel like the colds are inevitable:(  now i have a cold.  it's hard once the weather gets cooler....my sister took a baby class and they said it's best if baby gets a few colds in the first year ...it's really good for their immune system.  we are very into hand sanitizer, wiping down countertops and hand washing but other than trying to be careful, my anxious germaphobe self tries hard to accept the fact that babies, and even preemies get colds.
