Re: *~*Sunday Ticker Change*~*
My first 2 NSTs and my u/s went ok. On Monday, baby was moving like crazy during the NST. On Thursday, she wasn't so it took a little longer to get the required amount of accelerations. Of course, that worried me. I feel like her movements haven't been as intense since Monday. I mentioned it on Thursday, and the doctors assured me that if there was a problem, we would have seen it on the NST. She's been moving better yesterday and today so that reassures me a little. I go in again tomorrow for another u/s and NST, and then on Thursday for NST only.
QOTW: DH and I actually met randomly online. I was finishing up my first year of college and he was an incoming freshman - he messaged like 5 or 6 people through ICQ (if anyone even remembers that) with some questions about college life, and I was the only one who responded. We chatted for hours that first night, and then for several days after that. Then, we exchanged phone numbers and began talking on the phone. He came up to visit that summer, and we were together officially when he started college that fall.

I had a pretty good scare on Friday after watching my baby sister play soccer. My vision got all messed up and anything I could see looked as if it was through a clear kaleidoscope, like prisms. Everyone had left the field and I had to drive my 14 year old sister home, which was scary. She had to keep an eye on the road to help me. It was only 6 miles and with driving slow and prompting from her to hit the brakes for two turkeys in the road that I didn't see, we got home safely. I don't have cell reception where my parents live or else I would not have driven.
I laid down for a while and called the doctor. She thinks it all had to do with my low blood sugar in the morning but that seems weird to me since I had eaten twice and had two normal sugars in that time. Oh, well. The doctor knows best, right? I had my husband pick me up and I rested the remainder of the night.
Today, we are doing the baby's nursery! It's so exciting to see it all start to come together! Only 9 weeks left!
QOTW I met my husband in 4th grade and he was just so darn cute! We started dating our senior year and have been together since. This December, we will celebrate 10 years together, 1 year married and welcome our first child!
Hi Everyone! My 24 week appt went well. My blood pressure came back down. It was 130/80 @ my 20 week, but it was 118/74 @ my 24 week. Got my flu shot, & prescriptions for my 1 hr GTT. That test is next week (26 1/2 weeks). We have our maternity tour next Sunday night. Other than than that, not much else to report. My 28 week appt. is on Nov. 7th, then I begin bi-monthly appts in December. Time is flying!!!
QOTW: DH & I met at a bar.
Qotw: dh and I met when we both worked at Kroger. I was a pharmacy tech and he worked in the store.

Hi ladies! This week has gone pretty well. We started buying some things for baby boy, which is fun. We also worked on cleaning out our spare bedroom for the nursery yesterday. We are going to have a yard sale and then start painting. It's crazy how much we have to do, but it's really exciting. I just wish we could agree on a name so I could start ordering stuff with his name on it.
QOTW: We met at the end of my sophomore year at a church youth group. I started going with a friend, and he was in the band.

Today I am 18 weeks...Took my first bump picture today...I will try to upload later...if I can figure it out...I don't know why it took me so long to take a belly pic. ? Maybe it was because I was afraid if I took it too early something might happen? I know your not out of the woods until baby is hear but I really feel pregnant now that I have a bump and was excited to take the picture...
I have felt great the past 2 weeks.... my only complaints is still my fast growing boobs and how tired I am...having a 4 year old really makes a difference with this pregnancy...
QOTW: We went to school together...We hung out with the same group of friends and actually dated other people through out high school and then the last semester of our Sr. year we started getting closer and eventually started dating..we have been together 11 years total...Married for 5 ...
Hi all!
I had my first u/s with BPP last Tuesday, and everything was ok. I think the score was an 8? Anyway, Dr wasn't concerned about anything and just wants me to stay dilligent with glucose monitoring and proper diet. LO measured a week ahead - 4lb 3 oz! Yowza! That seems like quite a baby already! I think I will be enjoying the weekly screens. I like knowing exactly how LO is progressing.
In other news, I am a new aunt! My brother and his wife have a new baby boy, Connor George! I get to go meet him tomorrow. Yay!!!
QOTW: My DH lived across the hall from my brother during their freshman year of college, so I met him when I visited my brother (who is two years older than me).
Update: Things have been kind of touch and go here. I thought I might end up in the hospital again this weekend, but thankfully my BP went down a little. I had an NST last week that didn't go so well, so we ended up with an extra ultrasound. Then we had another ultrasound later in the week and things are looking okay based on that. I am doing another 24 urine collection and I will finally have my GT this week (I would have gotten a false positive from the steroids if it was given on time). I have two appointments next week, one with my OB and one with the MFM.
QOTW: DH and I met in undergrad. We were friends first and our friends all thought we were dating before we admitted we liked each other. We've been together for 13 years, married for 8.
I'm a day late on this. I'm 11 weeks as of yesterday. Hard to believe I'm almost done with first tri! We have our 12 week appointment a week from today, after which point we'll let the cat out of the bag. I'm excited and scared all at the same time. I think I may actually be starting to show just a tiny bit, but I'm not sure. My lower abdomen feels hard and a little bit bulbous, and then above that, just below my belly button is where I'm sticking out. I know baby is still really low, but I'm thinking everything sticking out is my guts that have been displaced by my growing ute, and the hard bulbous part is my ute. Not entirely sure, but whatever the case, I'm starting to actually LOOK pregnant, which is exciting!
QOTW: DH and I met in college. We were "just friends" (though I thought he was cute and it turns out vice versa), until one night we got way too drunk at a party and ended up making out (so romantic, right?). I woke up the next morning with a headache and the awful feeling that we had just ruined our friendship, but to my surprise, he asked me out on an actual date that night, and the rest is history.
