Does this board do/want siggy warnings? (siggy warning)

Hi everyone,

I've not noticed siggy warnings being the norm here, but with the post just below and some of the upset that happened the other day, I wondered if it is something everyone does/wants?

Sorry if it is common and I've just been too dim to notice.

My vote is that warnings aren"t necessary, every 2nd ost would have one otherwise.  

Whatever happened the other day was out of the ordinary.  

For what it is worth I think you picture is lovely, and the other kids are cute, our grads come back with tickers and we are happy for them.

Since there's an infertility board and a 3T board and this board is for anyone 35 and older trying to conceive it seems there is not a reason that siggy warnings should be needed here.

Having no children of my own to boast about, I don't begrudge others the opportunity. I also think those in the >35 page have  a good chance of having children <35, so I almost expect it.

There have never really been siggy warnings for Existing children but anyone from PG >35 always has a ticker warning. Generally speaking it is the pregnant tickers that get the ladies with no kids down. Thanks for asking about the board's rules--it is appreciated!

It doesn't really bother me. It would have right after my m/c, but then I mostly lurked on the Loss board anyway.

I don't think siggy warnings should be needed. I don't think a warning helps at all anyway...what are you going to do, quick hit the "back" button any time you see a warning so you don't proceed? With that being said, I also don't know why it is necessary to even put a pic of your baby in your signature when you are posting on any board of people trying to have children. It can be frustrating to ANY woman, infertile or not, to see what she wants, but doesn't yet have, seemingly rubbed in her face. I personally wouldn't add any baby pics just out of common courtesy. But that's just how I feel, and it looks like I'm in the minority here.
