Still bleeding?

My LO will be 3 weeks tomorrow and a few days ago I had stopped bleeding so I figured I was done with the lochia bleeding and that my discharge would be back to normal. Well now I'm starting to bleed again and have been for about 2-3 days. Is this the return of my period already or is this still from the birth? Should I be concerned? It's not heavy enough to be filling a pad every hour.

Did you have a c-section? this happened to me, I still am but verrrry light. thought it stopped but BAM it was back with avengance for a while. It wasn't my period.

No, I didn't have a C-section. I had a vaginal delivery.

If the bleeding comes back, it usually means you're overdoing it. Just keep an eye on it, get as much rest as you can, and if it becomes a pad an hour or more, call your doctor.

It is normal to have some breaks from the bleeding.  With my first I bled for 5 weeks, with breaks here and there.  Unfortunately my period also started week 6, even though I EBF.  Still waiting for the bleeding to stop now.

This happened to me after having DS1 , and I ended up bleeding for almost 7 weeks, which sucked! But as PP noted, if the bleeding is heavy you could be over-doing it, so be sure not to strain yourself.
