TTC after 35

Zero day today or tomorrow?

Thursday my opk was definitely negative. Friday it appeared like it was positive or darn close. Today it has the same reading as yesterday both mid morning and this pm and I am having mittelschmerz now and had EWCM this am. Would you consider today as zero day and tomorrow one DPO, or is ovulation day after the surge when you next get a negative thinking tomorrow? Thx!

Re: Zero day today or tomorrow?

  • i assume you don't temp?  that would really tell you.  for me, i usually get all of your signs right before I ovulate - so I would say tomorrow would be O day.  But since everyone is different - if you're not temping I would BD today, tomorrow and the next day.

  • No I am just going by the OPK. I would just like to have an idea of O day so I know when to start my progesterone. Hmmmmm...

  • I test twice a day (mid morning and mid afternoon) and I only get positive opks in the afternoon, so I suggest also testing in the mid to late afternoon. As for the symptoms, I also get them the day before O, but everyone is different. Good luck this cycle.
