Toddlers: 24 Months+

for those who have done the sleepeasy solution....come in please!

We used this with DS as a last resort (he is almost 4 now) back when he was 10 months. My LO is 6 months and we are struggling SO hard with sleep. I was trying to avoid CIO, and at this point, she is not sleeping more than an hour at night. I want to do the Sleepeasy solution again but can't remember exactly how many minutes you are supposed to wait in between check ins. can anyone help me? I gave the book to a friend, and I don't want to repurchase it unless absolutely necessary.

  • As I recall: 5 min, 10 min, then every 15 min until they are asleep or close to it (quiet fussing). No contact during check-ins, and not for more than 30 seconds! I love the Sleepeasy solution. I get almost 12 hours of peace from my 17 mo son every night now.

  • Call me a rebel but I never read any of the books. Sleepeasy (modified CIO) is basically what I did with DD1. I went in at 3, 5, 7, and every 10 minutes. I just patted her back or rubbed her tummy and sushed for a few seconds then left. Repeat as necessary. The second night she made it to the second 10 minutes but after that never made it past the 5 min mark. **Knock on wood** I haven't had to sleep train with DD2 so far.
