DD keeps taking her diaper off! HELP!!

Help! She does it for naps and bed time. I come into her room and she's laying in a pool of pee. Most of the time i catch it in time but it's been happening alot more lately.

I have tried putting the diaper on backwards. That bought us a week but now she has figured that out too.

People have suggested the pull ups but I don't see how as she is pushing the diapers down, not opening the tabs. I've even put the diaper on tight. Nothing works!

Please help! Thanks

  • A onesie or maybe overalls or a longall over a onesie. Or use duct tape to keep it on.

  • Cut the feet off a sleeper and put it on backwards so she can't unzip it.

  • DS is the same. I got thick cloth training pants (like cloth diapers but strong snaps) and he loves it.

He kept saying "all done" and pulling the diaper down until it fell off then I tried cloth training pant from DD (he is not ready for potty training) and he didn't complain. I think he hated the way diapers feel.

  • I don't normally cloth diaper and he has been in disposable since birth. These are essentially the same -just put them on and take them off (no stuffing or folding) - and I wash them at night and rinse again.

He still gets disposable at night and if we go out but I have used these at night and never leaked (sleeping 11 hours at night and 30 pounds)

  • My daughter starting doing this when she was ready up potty train. May e it's her way of letting you know she is ready!
  • DS was doing this and I have been sitting him on the potty. We do pull ups during the day, but I am a SAHM and I can sit him there once an hour. I think it's mostly curiosity on their end too. These kiddos are growing up. The onsie thing worked well too, we did that for a while. :) Best of luck to you!
