Mucous is still in poop

LO has been on Elecare for almost 2.5 weeks and he is still having green brown mucousy poops and butt still gets really red and raw. Dr. says to give it some more time.  LO is thriving and growing and gaining weight by my other son who has milk protein allergy did just fine on Alimentum my little one has not.
