Posted this over in 9-12 months but didn't get any response.
DD is almost one and has been EBF her entire life. Of course she eats table food but she has never had formula or even taken a bottle very much. I'm planning on weaning her at a year and switching her to whole milk. Right now I do (more or less) scheduled feeding when she wakes up, mid afternoon, and before bed. My question is do I continue to give her milk at the same times or do I just let her tell me when she wants it? When does milk become more of a snack than a necessary part of the day?
Re: Weaning to whole milk, new feeding schedule?
my read shelf:
ETA: saw you said you feed on a schedule I would definitely offer milk when she normally gets it, especially since its only 3ish times a day. I'd check with the pedi too and make sure you're doing it how they rec :
