Phone Consult with RE Done!

Ironically it is exactly 2 years to the day that we started our IVF journey.  I didn't realize it until our RE said something about it.  He was happy that we chose to stay with him for this journey. 

Our conversation was casual and I basically told him I am scared Sh!tl3ss!  We have two options on the table still.  Another full blown IVF or a mini IVF.  With my age where its at I am looking to have one more sucessful PG. Mini IVF would be ideal but they can't do PGS with mini IVF.  With a full IVF we have a dilemma of what happens if we get too many eggs.  If we get to many eggs what do we do? It is a morale dilemma for me.  So we have some decisions to make still. 

Then of course the finances.  It is more costly to do the PGS but the odds are better and with DH's chronic illness I know in my heart it is the best thing to do. Spending another 20K to 30K has me very nervous as well. We may consider looking into financing this round.

He has sent me over a list of supplements he wants me and DH on while we prepare for January.  I haven't had a chance to look at it yet but I will definitely share anything that I learn.  So in the next few months we will fill out all the consent forms, get registered with the genetic lab and get our finances together. 

I will be re-doing all the labs again in November and I have an appointment for an ultra sound on 11/21 at 11:30.  I can't believe this is actually happening again. 

Thank you ladies for being such great support while navigating through your own trials and tribulations.  I have never been very good with words but know that I am extremely grateful for all the love and support I receive from you all.

It is hard to have big choices to make, but glad you have a couple of options. It sounds like your RE is pretty great too. I'm looking forward to cheering you on for each next step!

That's a huge exciting step!  It sounds like a hard decision, but now that you have all the information laid out, I'm sure you & DH will come to the right decision for your family.
