DD has been SO fussy for the last 3 days. She is extremely fussy in any position I put her in. She has on warm clothes, doesn't have a wet diaper, isn't interested in eating, isn't interested in distractions. Any more ideas? She is EBF so it isn't an allergy to formula. She pooped like 3 times yesterday so she isn't constipated. I have no idea what it could be. I hate the idea of letting her cry nonstop.
She will cry for about 3 hrs, take a nap, cry again, eat, take a nap, cry again, etc. We just don't know how to help her and the screaming is getting to us.
Re: 2 1/2 mo old crying!
Does she have a fever? Does she have plenty of wet diapers?
Im so sorry shes not happy, it can be so upsetting having a crying baby! Have you called the dr? there isnt much to tell them but maybe they can suggest something. If it was my DD I would give her a small dose of fever/pain meds just to see if that helps settle her. Have you checked her mouth for teeth? Does she have any pain when you touch her or hold her?
Can you try wearing her in a carrier?
It could just be a growth spurt or a wonder week; don't be afraid to ask for help so you can step back and take a break. All that crying just fries your nerves.
