Licensed!!!

After 1.5 YEARS, we are finally licensed to adopt and do respite care!!!

Every day I run home to check the mail for our license - yesterday on my way home (I was going home for the sole purpose of looking in the mailbox), I got a call from someone who just started talking to me like we are BFFs. I kind of just went along with it, and finally he told me he is our Support Worker. After the whole conversation, and him explaining his role in the process, I asked, "So does this mean we are licensed?" And he said, "Oh yeh you have been licensed for a while!" Not sure how long a "while" is, but YAY!!! He said thanks to a sysytem back up, it could take 6 weeks to get our paper license. But we are in the system!

Now we sit back, relax (LOL yeh right), and wait for the phone calls.

We are doing an adoption photo shoot next weekend, I will share the photos when we get them!
