Another nuchal translucency update

Thanks again everyone for your support.  This has been one of the longest weeks of my life.  Unfortunately, despite my best efforts to be positive, I think due to my history I was essentially grieving my baby.  I could not believe that things would work out for me, but it looks like we may have beat the odds this time!!

I went in today to have my CVS done and was dismayed to learn that my placenta had moved and was now covering my cervix, making the CVS significantly more risky than what was initially predicted.  Then the u/s tech and doc turned their attention to my baby.  WHICH LOOKED 100% NORMAL!!!!!  The septated 4.2 mm nuchal translucency/cystic hygroma had completely resolved, leaving behind a simple nt measuring 2.2 mm.  Totally normal.  The baby was wiggling around all over the place and great heart rate.  The doctor said he could make no guarantees but that if I didn't have early us's due to my mc history they never would have looked at my nt before today (11 weeks) so they never would have increased my risk.  He said that maybe the baby's lymphatic system just wasn't fully developed a few days ago.  He advised that he would no longer recommend doing the CVS and we opted for the maternit21 instead.  I know there are no guarantees, but things sure are looking a lot brighter.  I feel like such a huge weight has been lifted.  It's like that first day after your grief that you notice sun shining and birds singing again.  It feels that good. 

 Anyway, sorry for the novel, just wanted to share my happy news and thank you for your support.  Best wishes to everyone for healthy pregnancies and rainbow babies on the way.

TTC 10/2009 BFP #1: Missed m/c at 8.5 weeks 11/10 BFP #2: Missed m/c at 10.5 weeks 8/11 BFP #3: Missed m/c at 9 weeks 2/2012 BFP #4: 8/21/12, EDD 5/4/13. So far so good, fingers crossed, hoping and praying with all of our might for this little bean....

    IVF#1 - 1 blast = BFP!! (12/30), EDD 9/9/12, confirmed c/p 4w2d
    FET#1 3/2/12 - 2 blasts =BFP!! EDD 11/18/12, us#1 = twins! Confirmed m/c 5w6d
    4/20-surprise BFP and another c/p 4w2d
    FET#2 7/16/12 - 2 blasts = BFN
    FET#3 8/20/12 - 1 blast - BFP!! Beta #1-2=177, 354
    1st u/s 5w6d, one beautiful little HB :), 2nd u/s 146bpm
    baby girl born 5/10/13

    TTC#2 since 12/17/2014, Cycle 8
    Repeat Testing...FSH=12, AMH=3.8, AFC=28. 
    IUI#5 5/10/15- c/p?
    IVF#2 8/19/15 - cancelled due to cysts
    IVF#2 take two 10/2015 - 5 blasts frozen
    FET#4 12/11/2015 - BFN - 4 blasts remaining
    FET#5 2/18/16 - BFP!!!  Beta1-3, 126, 250, 745!!

    Yay for a great update and no CVS! I understand about pre-grieving your baby, but I hope you can relax a little bit and begin to enjoy your time with this LO!
