My pedi recommended this also. I pump a bottle of bm and add it. He takes the bottle down with no problem so I assume he doesn't taste it when I mix it with the bm.
Ahh, makes since. I mentioned that I have dealt with a good bit of skin cancer and thus avoid the sun and will take all measures to not expose her either... thus her recommendation.
I wonder if I could take extra Vit D supplements so that she doesn't have to?!
We give it as DD LOVES it! In fact, we keep it in the diaper bag as bribery if she is inconsolable and crying, the drops will quiet her down. Then again, if we don't need the "bribe" one day and miss giving it to her, I don't panic. I would not worry about the taste from your perspective. Babies have very different tastes than we do, tastes continue to change through teenage years, so even though you/I may think it tastes horrible--a baby might love it.
I am having trouble updating tickers--But I am due on April 2015. I have 2 older step children: 9 and 14 yrs and I also recently had 2 younger children: 2 years and 1 year... so this means I will be having 3 under 3--and trying to fit our family of 7 into our minivan--eek!
I just give it to her directly since mine doesn't mind the taste. My pedi told me to give it to her too. He said you could mix it in a bottle too if she doesn't like it straight from the dropper.
We give LO tri-vi-sol. She's been getting it since she was in the NICU. She gets 1ml per day and she takes it plain...she doesn't mind it. I usually give it to her in the evening with her zantac.

DS's pediatrician recommended it. DS doesn't seem to mind the taste. I started giving it to him in a bottle of breastmilk or formula, but he takes it straight from the dropper, too.
Yup, I'm giving Tri Vi Sol - a daily dose mixed in with my baby's bm bottle at lunch time. That way I typically remember it if it's the same time every day... baby is fine with it mixed in with her bottle.

Yes. LO loves the taste!
We give Tri-Vi-Sol to DD daily directly from the dropper and she loves it!
Try Carlson D Drops. You only need one drop and they are tasteless!
