CD Mamas - nighttime help!!!!!

He's 7.5 months and I have never had a problem with nighttime leaking.  He usually wears sloomb snapless with a flip cover, BG 4.0 stuffed with 2 hemp insert and the microfiber, or a Kawaii Good Night Heavy Wetter.  All worked fine until this week?

I literally have woken up with him every couple of hours (his top tooth just came in).  He was just starting to sleep through the night for the last couple of weeks.  I didn't know if he was going through a growth spurt so I would make a small bottle each time he woke up and he would suck it down and go back to sleep.  Well, the 4:30am wake ups now are accompanied with a soaked sleep sack and bed.  He's a tummy sleeper and I don't understand how this just started happening this week.

Does anyone have advice?  Could my son become a heavy wetter out of no where.  Why are all the diapers leaking (his daytime ones that are washed with the nightime are fine - except for FB elite *that's another story)?  I'm a walking zombie and need some advice.  Thanks.

When this starts happening, we either go up a size (we have a lot of sized pockets), or add another insert. I've had a lot of luck with the Flip inserts + microfiber insert and sometimes a doubler, too. DD is also a tummy sleeper, so I make sure to fold the extra near the front, instead of the back.

I've also heard great things about fitteds+wool for nighttime super soakers. I have no personal experience with that, though.

Is he just growing out of them? If he's not out of the weight limit then it's possible that he's just getting a little leaner, so it doesn't quite fit it right anymore.

I use Bumgenius and after  6 1/2 months I had to start using night time disposable diapers.  Even with adding in the newborn insert he continued to leak.  Sorry if I am not much help!

I use the sloomb snap less with a thirsties cover at night for my heavy wetter. Maybe try that plus a wool cover? Or add a hemp insert as well?
