Although I said I wouldn't do it, LO has slept with me in bed almost every night since he got home. We have a bassinet in our room but everytime we put him in it, he screams. Even if he is sleeping, he'll only last 10 minutes before he wakes up crying. I know it is dangerous but I usually feed LO laying down and we both fall asleep. He managed to have 2 4 hour stretches the last night which was amazing!!!! I know I have to stop doing it, but this tired mama is doing what works right now!
that is exactly how things have been at our house, minus the lay down feed.
While I was about to put baby in his bassinet for a nap, I notice the cat in it. So I walked all the way up stairs with baby so I wouldn't disturb the cat.
This made me laugh out loud. Right now our cats have no idea how much their lives are going to change in the next month.
So I've gone this entire pregnancy without a single drop of alcohol. But I was thinking today "A nice bottle of hard cider sounds good." I probably won't even drink a whole one, so it would be less than the equivalent to a glass of wine. So I text DH cuz I'm sure as hell not going to pick up a six-pack (I'm way to worried about judge-y people). And he tells me no. That I made it this far, I only have two weeks left, NO. WTF. Do not tell me no! I haven't made him stop drinking for the past 9 months!!! And my drs have said it's ok this whole time, but I've just never been in the mood. But now with fall here I want some cider and I'm super pissed that he thinks he can tell me what to do! I'm about to rage on him when I get home from work, but that would be worse for the baby than imbibing just a little! My sister and BIL are coming over so she's agreed to bring me some. Still, I'm super pissed!!!!

A little side story: I bought two six-packs of beer for friends who helped us move when I was 7 months pregnant. I was HUGE and the store was crowded. I was judged by many, many people. I thought it was hilarious.
As for your husband... tell him off for telling you no!
My cat threw up on the floor sometime before I went to work this morning. I'm one to generally get that off the floor immediately because it's disgusting. Right now I'm pretending I can't see it because the thought of getting on my hands and knees to scrub the white carpet is just painful right now. DH will be home soon and then I can walk in and say "Dang! The cat puked!"
Also... I had a glass of red wine the other night, not that it's flameful, but seriously, does anyone else think it tastes WAY better when you're pregnant? I enjoyed it before, but it honestly tastes even better now. It's like some kind of cruel joke.
Also, I had raw salmon sushi that same night... whatever, I've been eating at that place since it opened in 2008 and it's pristine. I'm more worried about contracting food-borne illness from the spicy chicken sandwich I had at Wendy's today for lunch.

Gave him a piece of my mind--and there was a 6 pack chilling in the fridge when I got home from work! And the cider was delish! Alcohol is def better when you haven't had any for nearly a year

Wine has been yucky to me when I've had small sips here and there, and that's even kinds I typically like.
Now beer and champagne on the other hand...
I LOVE champagne--I hope to treat myself to a glass once we're home from the hospital
