thin, holds up well, cute (if that is possible), won't poke a hole w/ my big toe in the first couple wears, comes in a variety of colors/styles?

Like people mentioned in the OP, I am a big fan of the George ones from Wal-Mart. They are just the right thickness and they last forever. I bought my last batch of them in 2008 and still have nearly all of them.
