My Question may ask TMI but I need help

hi ladies, I need some help on figuring out when my period will start again? Yesterday made 8 weeks, and still nothing.. I did bleed for about 5 weeks, so will my cycle start 8 weeks from delivery or 6-8 weeks after I stop bleeding from delivery? Any advise will help thanks.. 

This is a really hard question to ask.. I wish I was asking it as an excited Mommy.. But my situation has been terrible.. 

 My Daughter Cadence was born Sleeping on August 15th. My heart goes out to all grieving families..

Cadence was considered Full Term her Due date was the 30th and I had a dr app. the day before and she was a perfect healthy baby girl.. and the next day everything changed.. I am so sorry that we have this in common, its a terrible thing to share with someone..

I hate that we all have this in common. I delivered my son Frankie on 8/19 at 38 weeks and we lost him during the first week.

I have not had my period yet either and I am going on 9 weeks. I called my OB today and she said that if I don't get it by 12 weeks after delivery then to call her. There is medication they can give you if your Dr. feels a period needs to be induced.

 I am sorry that you are here with us. We are all here to support each other. ((hugs)).

I'm so sorry for your loss. Cadence is a beautiful name.

It took me 9 weeks for my cycle to resume, and I wasn't as far along as you. My Dr. didn't seem concerned that it took that long but I definitely would've wanted to be seen if it hadn't come when it did.

We were term also, and my first PP AF showed 6 weeks after delivery. I've heard upto 60 days PP is "normal" but don't hesitate to ask your doctor if you're concerned. I'm so sorry for the passing of your Cadence. *hugs*

My pp bleeding didn't last real, just 4 weeks. Then got my normal af in dec. then I went 120 days w/o my af. It's been a yr and it's just starting to go back to normal. Again I am so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Cadence. My daughter was born sleeping on March 30th of this year. It took 9 weeks for my period to return. I am sad to welcome you to our group but hope you can find some support and comfort here.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's really hard and it doesn't get easier it just becomes more manageable ((hugs)) 

My daughter was stillborn 3 days before her EDD last year. It took 5 months for me to get my first PP AF.

I did have my 6 week check up and like an idiot when my OB asked if I had started again I said yes? dont ask where that came from, I mean I was a complete mess when I went in there, and all the questions and even just looking at him made it so hard.. I mean now I am kicking myself that I did that. After I had her I bled for about 4 weeks and then stopped. That I know wasnt my period, but I havent had anything start since..
