not steralized nipple?

We were out of town yesterday and I could not get my three month old to latch. I brought a bottle with but forgot the nipple so we had to go to the store and buy one. Being out made us not be able to sterilize by boiling the nipple. Just this one time and I'm worried about it. I mean it was that or make her starve. This is okay right? I mean we boil everything else first, it was just this time.

Ive never boiled anything.... Just washed with hot soapy water.

I have never sterilized anything. I put them in the dishwasher which has a sterilize cycle. If his paci falls on the floor or something, I rinse it off in the sink. You are over reacting - it is fine.

You're fine. I don't sterilize...just hot soapy water. I might run through the dishwasher a couple of times just to kill off more germs, but don't worry! Your baby is fine.
