I have seen it on here before. Talking about not using the same amount or syllables for first and last names.
For instance my name is 3 for my first, 2 for middles and 1 for my last. Is there a formula any of you know that works best? like 3 2 1 or 3 2 3?
Sorry if this question seems foolish I am just curious!

Re: Syllables
Ashley Simpson
Isla Fisher.
But I think the idea is that something like:
Tim Cod isn't enough name.
Mallory Malardy sounds too similar.
Catherine Seraphina Amoraldia is too much name.
Heaven Nevaeh Hope is too repetitive.
There are always exceptions to the rule, so I wouldn't get too hung up on syllables.

Personally I think the syllable rules are ridiculous. I've never heard a name in real life and said "Oh, the syllables are all wrong! What were the parents thinking?!". If you like a name then use it...regardless of syllables.

I read this thread thinking the same thing.
This. Our last name has an emphasis on the second syllable, DS2 has a 2-2 name but because his first name stresses the first syllable it flows well. Marie and Juliet, for example, don't sound good with our last name.
