I love Costco - we always buy our diapers, wipes, formula there and they are supposed to have a very open return policy. So, when I was pregnant with the twins, I bought a bunch of diapers - they ended up growing so fast that I had 4 extra boxes of Kirkland size 1-2's. I wasn't worried though because I was assured I could bring them back (without a receipt), and exchange them for a larger size.
Well, I went in yesterday and they told me they could only give me store credit because they changed the boxes (mine were the older boxes) - and on top of that, it was a reduced price - $19.99 per box, when I paid $29.99 per box! I spoke to a manager and there was nothing she could do.
So, I take my $19.99 per box credit, and then proceed to go buy Size 3's with my credit - only to find the diapers went up $9 per box!!! Huggies are $5 more but Huggies has like 25 more diapers per box so I went with the Huggies. Anyway, my credit for FOUR boxes of diapers didn't even buy me TWO boxes of bigger diapers.
How are people supposed to live when EVERYTHING is going up in price!!
Vent over.
Re: Costco Vent
Wow! I'm surprised, normally Costco is SO good. Last time I was there I noticed the diapers are in new/different boxes, do you know if they changed the actual diapers? Maybe that's why they did not want to exchange?
