Fussy day...not sure if it is the growth spurt or CD

So DH and I started CD last night. The night went very well as DS slept 5 hours straight! Today has been a different story. DS has pooped and peed through a few diapers already. DS also always has a 3 hour nap around lunch time. It seems that wet/dirty diapers are waking him up from his nap. He has already been up three times because of a dirty diaper. One time he fed, but the other two times it was clear he just wanted his diaper changed and then he fussed due to being tired for about an hour. If my baby is super sensitive to being wet/dirty, will I ever get sleep again? I have boosters to line on top of the soakers, but doesn't that just protect clothing? (He would still feel wet as soon as he pees/poops). I'm starting to get concerned about wasting a lot of money on cloth.

What kind of cd are you using?

With PP, what kind of CDs are you using? Anything cotton baby is going to feel being wet straightaway. You can line with microfleece in that case.

Grovia Ai2's...I think I have mostly cotton soakers

Agree with pp, Use some micro fleece liners.  I bought some at or CD store for $6, but you can just go to the fabric store and cut up some of your own if you want.

Some babies are just really sensitive to being wet/ dirty. My LO cries within a couple of minutes of being wet and we use disposables i think it just depends on the baby.

This! I made some, it's super easy just to cut them down to the size you need, no need to sew or anything. Hope it works out for you!

yep, between baby and soaker.  It acts as a stay dry layer, wicking moisture away from baby.  It's not absorbent though, which is why you still need soakers.
