Spotting for the past few days but no period?

Also on the bf board.

I posted a few days ago about thinking I might be starting my first period soon because I had some spotting for a few days. I also felt a little sore down there 2 days ago so I'm pretty sure AF was right around the corner (I even bought Tampons)

But today, all the symptoms and spotting have gone away. Is it normal to have late pp spotting,?or is AF playing a cruel trick on me and will pop up any minute?

My son is younger than yours but I had the same thing happen to me. I had some spotting and it went away for 3 or 4 days and then my period came. So maybe it's the same thing. GL!

I am experiencing the same thing. I keep thinking I am going to get my period, but I don't know. Is it possible to still have PP discharge and get your period?

I'm not so sure. Hopefully it's just discharge, I'm not ready to get my period again!

I may be a special case...but my discharge lightened up then got heavy again about 3 weeks postpartum and I had retained placental fragments. If your flow gets heavy, don't feel shy about calling your OB.
