That is really cute! DD doesn't speak the word "no" yet, but she shakes her head "no" for a lot of things now. The only thing that she 100% of the time wants to do is go outside. It's like punishment to her when it's time to come back in.

we're in this phase right now...earlier today I was eating a banana which she happens to love so I said "want some?" She says no and turns around so I thought she really didn't want any and I turned around. Then I hear "ahhhh.." and that's her behind me asking for a bite. haha

HA - yes, mine is also a head shaker. Especially when I ask her if she wants something to eat, or more, she'll shake her head no first and then she'll sign for eat or more! Make up your mind, kid! LOL

Re: Having a "no" day? LIP
Hehehehe!
So cute!
True story! We get in a rush for milestones, but there is almost always an upside of them being a little behind.
Yes, I have a blog and it's hilarious (except when it's not)

DD doesn't say no - she only has a few words - but shakes her heard "no" at almost everything, especially to the questions "can I have a kiss."
"Lucy, let's change your diaper."
"Uhneeeeoooo. No. No. No!"
It is equal parts frustrating and hysterical.
