Detroit Babies

A2 RE

I could use some help. I am currently working with my OBGYN. I have been trying for 15 months now and I am wanting to be more agressive at this point. Basically my doc is not doing anything to figure out what could possibly be wrong or why I am not ovulating every month. I live in southern central Michigan. I am looking for a good RE but I don't know where to start. I think my best options would be Grand Rapids or Ann Arbor, but both would be over an hour. I think A2 would be a little closer for me. Anyone have any RE ideas in the A2 area?? Thanks!!

Re: A2 RE

  • I met with Dr. John Randolph out of UofM when I was TTC my 1st. I ended up getting pregnant on my last round of clomid with my OB so he never actually treated me, but he and the office staff were amazing and still brought me in for bloodwork and an ultrasound when I got pregnant. I would definitely recommend him.

I second this... I actually live in SE Michigan and drive to GR for Drs Dodds and Young.  They are great as are their staff.  My local GYN's office did some of my monitoring for my IVF so I didn't have to drive all the way to GR too.  They also have an office in Kalamazoo but all their actual procedures for IVF are done in GR.  I'm not sure about IUI's, they may be able to be done in Kzoo.

  • The Ann Arbor docs are great at the REI clinic. I've met with Dr. John Randolph before who I really liked.. I also had a lot of contact with Dr. Matthew Will who works under Dr. Randolph.. he's super laid back and great.  I also had a friend who sees Dr. Fisseha and she's great too!!

  • I'd recommend IVF Michigan.  They have an office in Ann Arbor and Dr Ayers really knew what he was doing.  We ended up trying a couple places, but ended up going back to him and had success our first round of IVF.
