I have forgotten a bib several times when I have to feed J solids on the go. Try feeding a baby purees while balancing a burp cloth on his chest some time. It's an acquired skill.
Also, funny story about forgetting things.......Once, we were in the infant section in Macy's, and a couple with a little girl a few months older than J came up to us and asked us if we had a diaper they could use. They were on a quick errand on the way home from picking up the girl at daycare. Their diaper bag was at home, and the daycare's stash was still at daycare. They had been wandering all over the mall looking for somewhere to buy them, because she had pooped and was really cranky about it. They were so embarrassed, I felt bad for them. I gave them a diaper and a couple of wipes, and showed them where the restroom was. I now NEVER leave home without a spare diaper!

I forgot formula when I went to my dads, which is over an hour away. I had to buy a tub of similac, when she usually takes target brand. Not to mention it was at a small hometown grocery store so the prices were jacked way up!
I forgot extra clothes on more than one occasion when she was smaller, and those were the times when she manages to pre on herself or have a blowout!

I forgot bottles twice. Once when we were viewing houses and had appointments all day. Thankfully MIL was able to run to our house and then meet us at one of the houses. The other time was when we were on vacation. We had just gotten out onto the beach and had to drive all the way back to the house and back to the beach again.
On Sunday, we went to my Grandmother's for the day...forgot a bottle! Thank goodness I did at least have a sippy, and he kind of drank his milk out of that. He's really weird, won't drink anything but milk out of a bottle...won't drink milk out of the sippy.
