I know reading other mom's RCS stories really helped me in the weeks leading up to mine, so I thought I'd share mine!
I had mine scheduled for Wednesday, October 3 at 8:30 a.m. Everything went right on time and I was in the OR and ready for my spinal at 8:35. The spinal wasn't even as bad as the epidural I had with DS! Within no time, my FI was walking in and the Dr was getting started. It went quicker than I had thought and I soon heard the cries of my baby boy. I did have the shakes for about an hour and a half while in recovery but it wasn't too bad. I had a great nurse that kept me talking until my FI was able to come in and tell me everything was good with our LO. After two hours, I was wheeled into my room and Liam was brought to me. He was perfect! It is now day 7 and I'm feeling pretty good...slightly sore but my pain meds are working and I don't even have to take them the whole day. Overall, I had a pretty good experience and I'd do it all over again!

Just curious - Why did it take 2 hours for the baby to be brought to you? When I had my c/s, they placed him on me right away and wheeled me to recovery, and he stayed with me the whole time.
