CIO for naps

Anyone had to do CIO just for naps? He goes down pretty easy at night now we are going to work on naps. He goes down no problem but drinks a bottle until he passes out and I think I'd like to break him of that. Has anyone had luck with CIO for naps? How long did it take. DS is 9 mos next week btw

Daycare had to let LO CIO for naps a little bit ago.  He only cried for a minute or two.  He still fusses sometimes when he goes down.  He no longer cries but whines some.  Overall it worked well for us.
