Does anyone need a video monitor? Brand new but out of the box. We only used it once and realize we really don't need it. DS room is right beside ours and I hear every little peep he makes. Just a heads up,,,, u might need it once he's 6 months because by then he might be moving so much that he bumps his head in the crib or you're trying to sleep train,,, and he's crying... You don't know which just happened if all you hear is a cry. This is why we bought a video after just using sound! I knew by watching that the little cutie pie whose cries burned my heart were totally legit if he fell in there or something over him just whining for me to come snuggle him to sleep
