Bed Bugs

Ack my skin is crawling. They have discovered bed bugs in the building where I work. It was confirmed when a client brought one down to us in a bag which was later confirmed by the Orkin man. I am terrified of bringing them home with me

I have an irrational fear of getting bed bugs.

My advice: don't bring anything from work into a bedroom or anywhere you hang out a lot like a couch. You may even want to leave anything you can in your car to avoid bringing it in your home. 

Do you own a deep freeze/chest freezer? Bed bugs are killed using heat or cold, so if you can put any items in the deep freeze for two weeks you should be good. 

Wash anything you can on hot and dry for at least 60 minutes on high heat. 

Good luck! Like I said, I have bed bug paranoia. When we travel it's quite the process. I go through many steps to be sure nothing comes home with us.

Great advice!! Breezy we could be friends IRL lol. I have so paranoid of those things as well. On top of everything PP said Don't bring any bags, coat, or purse into work if you can avoid it, leave it in your trunk.

Well if your pumping you really don't have a choice but to carry that in:) However I wouldn't take it home and put it on your bed or couches. I'm sorry I don't want to scare you.

I appreciate all the good advice! I have the freestyle so for right now my pump bag usually gets put on the kitchen countertop and I just take the actual pump to the couch. I have also just put on new clothes as soon as I come home and throw the clothes I had on at work in the wash.

Oh yes that's good! GL I know its a PITA and another thing for you to worry about!
