March 2013 Moms

Is it just me?

Is it just me...but I don't feel like I'm pregnant anymore. I mean I know I am, but I'm not feeling any weird symptoms. I can't wait for my next doctor's appointment just to reassure that everything is ok.

Happy to be a mom :)

Re: Is it just me?

  • Not just you (except I'm still puking most days of the week).  I have my 16 week appointment next week and I'm anxiously awaiting news that this LO is still kickin' it in there.

  • My H is the same way. He keeps thinking everything means that I'm not pregnant anymore. It's bad. If I want to eat pasta, no baby. If I want to take a nap, no baby. If I have to pee, no baby. I can't worry about no baby since I'm always reassuring him that the little one is okay.
  • I haven't felt pregnant once yet.  I have the teeny tiniest bump, but it could easily pass for a food baby.  Can't wait until I pop and look pregnant, or start feeling her kick (instead of wondering if that was gas or the baby kicking, haha)
  • Thanks ladies :) I'm glad it's not just me feeling this way
Happy to be a mom :)
  • you girls are really on point today! i honestly forget i am pregnant except for the no drinking, no coffee business.

I have a slight bump but other than that nothing!

  • I keep feeling this way too.  I was so glad to have an appt last week to at least hear the heartbeat.  I am freaking about it thought - so much that I moved up my anatomy scan appointment by 1 week just so I can get another ultra sound a little faster.

  • I totally feel this way - glad its not just me!  The only way i know is the neverending bloating/gas problem that i am having coupled with my bump.  Otherwise - i totally feel normal.  I keep telling myself that i had an appointment two weeks ago and the heartbeat was strong.  I have my anatomy scan on Oct 22 - and honestly - could the time go slower?!

The only thing that tells me there's a baby in there are the appointments where I get to hear a heartbeat and my expanding stomach, which I can easily attribute to my exclusive carb diet that I've adopted since becoming pregnant.

:) That could have been my reply exactly!  Oh those carbs!!!

  • I've been so lucky that I have had no "bad" symptoms or any symptoms of being pregnant other than peeing a lot and bigger boobs. Zero morning sickness (which I'm totally grateful for). But I haven't felt the baby yet, so I still don't totally "feel" pregnant.

Same here. My stomach issues pretty much settled down around weeks 12-14. I can also feel my bump and have to go to the bathroom a lot. I'm with you, the next two weeks feel like they will take forever to get through!

I just think we all need to remember that, unless there are for sure signs of anything being wrong (excessive cramping, bright red blood, etc.), we should assume everything is fine.
