How do you use your OxiClean with diaper loads? I bought the Seventh Generation brand and the instructions say to not combine it with detergent. Does this mean I have to do 2 separate washes or that I should put the OxiClean in the basin instead of the detergent compartment?

It's part of the EFF detergent recipe, so I just use it in with my washing soda and borax (and now soap nuts).

I don't know why you can't combine it with detergent. It's an ingredient in most CD detergents.

I use it in my pre-wash. Pre-wash w/oxiclean, wash with detergent w/vinegar added into fabric softener dispenser, extra rinse.

I put it in the drum of my front loader, add diapers, and put detergent in the dispenser. The oxiclean would get used during the pre wash cycle. And the detergent would get used during the main wash. And then it rinses and I do an extra rinse.
