So my LOs 9 month check up was friday and the pedi wanted to know if he was sleeping through the night. I said no and that he was waking up 2-3 times a night. She told me I should start letting him cry. We started on friday night and let me tell you this was pretty easy and the most sleep I have got in 9 months. I layed him down drowsy on friday night and he went right to bed at 8pm. We woke up once at 2 am and only cried 28 mins then slep until 7:30 am. The next night I put him to sleep at 8 am he woke up at 12 am and fussed for a couple minutes and went back to sleep until 7:30 am. Last night he went right to sleep but woke up a couple of times and fussed and soothed himself right back to sleep! I should have done this sooner!!! I was about ready to have a meltdown with how many times he was getting up in the middle of then night and then going to work and trying to go to school!

Congrats! Best thing we did for DS and us! Of course now due to teething some nights he wakes and I go into rock him.... but we did sleep training at 6 mo and so now when he wakes I know something is wrong. Enjoy the sleep!

Congrats!  We did the same thing around 6 months and it worked wonders for us.  He still STTN.
