Blended Families

Maybe this has already been asked, but is anyone here part of a blended family and if so, what's the situation?

My blended family is my DH, stepson, 10, stepdaughter, 12, myself, and DD. My DH and I met while we were both divorcing. His kids are great and we have a good relationship with his exwife as well. Both stepkids are very fond of their new little sister!

My husband is my 8yo's step dad and he has two grown children from a previous marriage. Relations with his girls, ages 25 and 18 are frosty. A long, drama filled story. They don't know they have a new baby sister. It's sad but I want nothing to do with them unless they treat their dad with the respect he has earned and deserves.

DH has a 4 year old who lives with his ex in a different city.. We don't see her because they don't have papers and we're in the process of getting them. DD1 is technically only mine genetically wise but me and DH have been together since I was 3 months along with her.. So she is his in all respects. Then DS and DD2 are ours.
DD1's bio dad is not anywhere near the picture by choice from the beginning.. Dumb situation where we were not involved and too drunk to keep it in our respective pants

I have a 5 yr old from a hastened mistake on temporary feelings. I decided to keep her and hubs, my then bf, supported me and became the father she needs. We now we are married and have the current LO. My daughter's bio sees her once a yr for a week. he doesn't understand the need to keep in contact with his child....long story

I have a 6 year old from previous marriage, he sees his dad about every other weekend or so. My DH though is awesome with him and treats him like his own!
